Askdoc: A Vision to Improve the Health of Ethnic Minorities
Welcome to Askdoc. This is an organization with the health of the ethnic minority communities at the heart of its mission.
Our Vision is to engage, educate and empower the Greater Manchester ethnic minority communities. We also wish to improve understanding of ethnic minority health issues among our local health care professionals.
We aim to do this by continuing our engagement work with local ethnic minority communities, through roadshows, talks and workshops. We are also offering masterclasses in ethnic minority health issues, available to interested organisations. As you can see updates.

Dr Usman Choudry, Founding Chair
None of this work would have happened without the vision of our founding Chair, Dr Usman Choudry. Usman was Chair from 2011-2018, and worked closely with the founding trustees, in ensuring the organisation developed into what it is today.
He is a GP and active community activist, with a strong passion to make a difference to the community. His vision remains with the current committee.
Special acknowledgements to the other founding trustees:
Dr Ahmed Choudhury, Dr Enam Haque and Dr Tal Wasty.
